This charity website is for a voluntary organisation providing training courses for young people involved in fund raising. The main focus is on 'Children in Need' in South Wales.

This site uses the Joomla Customer Management System (v1.5.7).
It is a charity site and all content and images have been created by the charity's volunteers.
In the top left corner, a CSS-driven text-resizing option has been provided, along with a link to another site giving tips about accessibility options.
The Joomfish component has been installed on the site to provide a Welsh language translation facility.
All images in the photograph gallery are held in Google Picasa and are accessed via the bridging component JoomPicasa. This provides an easy way for registered end-users to upload photographs to the website.
The useful calendar function is implemented using the JEvents component. The calendar events are maintained entirely by registered end-users.

Why have a website

It always makes sense to advertise whenever possible. When a website can cost as little as £200, it makes sense to include the internet as a means of promoting your company.
No company is too small to have a website. In fact, today's customers often expect a company to have a presence on the internet and will actively seek them out.
